Staff Selection Commission-Multi Tasking Staff (SSC MTS) exam is conducted for two papers – I and II. SSC MTS paper-I is an objective test conducted in online mode. SSC MTS paper-II is a descriptive test conducted in offline mode.

SSC MTS Pattern for Paper-I
SSC MTS Paper-1 is divided into four parts containing total 100 objective-type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. Candidates must need to complete this paper in online mode in a duration of one and a half hours (90 minutes). For further clarification, candidates can refer the table below :

Note : One mark is allotted for every correct answer in the exam. 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer in the exam.
SSC MTS Pattern for Paper-II
SSC MTS Paper-II is a descriptive test conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. In paper-II, candidates have to write a short essay or letter on a given topic which is provided in exam and in a maximum duration of half an hour (30 minutes). Candidates can write the essay/letter may be in English/Hindi or any other regional language included in the eighth schedule of the Constitution of India.

Note : There is no negative marking in paper-II of SSC MTS exam.
